A playful 40 minute group where little ones learn rhythm, coordination and the joy of moving, and dance on stage for their families at the end of the semester.

Mini Dance is a small dance group for the youngest dancers. Every class is 40 minutes of music, games and simple movements that children want to repeat.
There is no pressure and no wrong answers, just a room where moving is fun.
Behind the games there is real training. We work on rhythm, coordination, posture and strong, flexible feet and back.
These are the basics every dancer needs, and children at this age pick them up easily when it feels like play.
Many children in this age group have never been to a class before, and that is exactly who the group is for.
If your child is shy at first, they can watch and join when they are ready. Parents can stay nearby during class, and we go at the pace of the children.
At the end of the semester the children perform for their families. It is a short, happy moment on stage that gives them pride and confidence.
The spring performance is in May, the date will be announced.
The group is small, so every child is seen and heard.
The group opens when at least 5 children confirm after the trial class.
I have been teaching dance since 2016 and I studied classical dance from childhood. With the youngest dancers I focus on rhythm, posture and strong feet, and I find an approach to every child. I speak English, Finnish, Russian and Ukrainian.
No classes on Saturday 27 March (Easter weekend) and Saturday 1 May. No classes during school or public holidays.

Yes, parents of children aged 3 to 6 can stay nearby. You do not need to join in.
This is very common at this age. The trial is free, and your child can watch first.

My groups meet in a dance studio in the center of Tampere, which I rent at DanceDaily. Address: Satakunnankatu 29, 33210 Tampere. A bright hall with mirrors and enough space to move freely.
